Nevus comedonicus

Nevus comedonicus. papules (blisters) at the base of the neck of a female patient with nevus comedonicus. Nevus comedonicus is a type of hamartoma - a benign (non-cancerous) malformation that resembles a neoplasm (tumour). However, it grows at the same rate as the surrounding tissues, unlike malignant (cancerous) tumours.
